The Sweat Circle: Staying Connected Beyond the Sweat.

A Quick Check-In From Jess

Hello, SWJ Family!

I wanted to take a moment to check in and let you all know that I am doing well. This sabbatical has given me the opportunity to reset, recharge, and pour into myself in ways that I haven’t been able to for quite some time.

While I’ve been enjoying this season of rest, I won’t lie: I miss you all. I miss the energy, the laughter, the fellowship, and of course, our time together at the Jungle Gym. Please know that you all have been on my mind, and I can’t wait to be back with you soon.

As I continue this journey, I wanted to leave you with a few reminders that go far beyond fitness:

1. Take Care of Yourself First

I can’t stress this enough. We spend so much time pouring into others that we sometimes forget to pour into ourselves. Remember that taking care of yourself isn’t selfish; it’s necessary. You can’t pour from an empty cup.

2. Go After Your Goals

Whatever your goal is, go for it.

Will it be easy? Probably not. Will there be setbacks? Absolutely. But don’t let that stop you. Every step forward counts, and the hard work you put in today will pay off tomorrow. Stay committed to the process, even when the results aren’t immediate.

3. Discipline Over Motivation

Motivation feels great when it’s there, but discipline is what carries you when motivation disappears.

The days you don’t feel like showing up are often the days that matter most. Discipline is choosing to keep going, even when it’s hard. It’s choosing consistency over convenience. Whether it’s your wellness journey, your career, your relationships, or your personal growth, discipline is what helps turn goals into reality.


Continue supporting one another, encouraging one another, and showing up for yourselves.
